Jewel was born Jewel Kilcher on May 23, 1974 in Homer, Alaska. In 2008, she released her first country album called Perfectly Clear, which spawned her first top 15 country hit with Stronger Woman peaking at #13 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. Another great song from Jewel is Stay Here Forever from her upcoming Sweet and Wild album, which will be released on June 8, 2010.
