Around the same time Carrie Underwood was being named the newest American Idol, Garth Brooks was dropping down on knee to ask Trisha Yearwood to spend the rest of her life with him. Garth proposed to Trisha in front of more than 7,000 fans at the Crystal Palace, in Bakersfield, California.
